ITINERARY

Full Day

Pick up at 7:30 a.m. and leave by private transport towards Quillacollo to take the main road in a mountain road up into the Cordillera Tunari (mountain range).

On our way up, find typical Andean villages, kewiña forest trees, some crystal clear mountain lakes and herders pasturing their llamas and alpacas. At the lake ‘Macho’ visitors drink our typical bolivian breakfast, afterwards, time start our three-hour ascent to the top of central Bolivia’s highest peak. Before reaching the top appreciate some rock formations, obstacles which are easy to go through, which makes our ascent to the summit even more interesting.

At 5,000 meters , enjoy an amazing view of 360 degrees of Cochabamba valley, after having our box lunch at the peak top have some time to rest and enjoy the altitude views. Descend to the last mountain lake hiking down the mountain and take transport back to Cochabamba.
