ITINERARY

La Paz (3600m) – Lower Glacier (4900m) –  Zongo mountain pass

1 and 1/2 hour drive from La Paz to Paso Zongo (4700m). Once at the base camp lunch will be served. Then, walk to the lower glacier, once at the place, guides will explain and show some basic techniques for ice climbing and mountaineering. Have the chance to practice these techniques with the guides and our climbing equipment. Later in the day, practice ice climbing techniques on small ice walls with safety ropes in place. Finish the day with a nice photo-shoot in the glacier and head back to La Paz by 5:30 p.m.
