This attractive short hike is striking for its geological formations shaped like pikes that reach to great heights. Some look like petrified souls (that`s where it got its name from). There is sparse vegetation, mostly grass and small shrubs. Birds such as sparrows and Pichitanga among some others. Valley of the Souls offer enchanting views of the Illimani Mountain and other peaks of the Royalmountain range and La Paz city.
