GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions govern the legal relationship between the Tour Operator INTI TRAVEL S.R.L. and the tour participants as well as third parties booking activities for travelers or acting as tour agents for all services provided by this tour operator.
Rates and Terms of Payment
The tour price per person is listed in USD dollars. All prices are quoted including local taxes.
Cancellations / Changes in Bookings by the Customer
Inti Travel S.R.L. does not offer any cancellation insurance or travel insurance.
Regular and Private Tours
Cancellations and changes in bookings (i.e. any change in the Tour, number of Customers or Tour date) must be made via mail and are legally binding upon confirmation by Inti Travel S.R.L.
Tours can be cancelled and any changes made for the tour date before 5:00 pm 2 days (48 hours) between administration days (Monday to Friday)
In case of cancellation the following penalties apply:
- 47 hours prior departure: 30%
- 36 hours days prior departure: 50% of the cancellation amount
- no-show or cancellation, same day or night before: 100% of the total amount initially paid
Any general terms of cancellation are communicated and sent by Inti Travel S.R.L. in the confirmation of booking.
Itineraries’ changes
Inti Travel S.R.L. has a free discretion to change any itinerary or program that maybe jeopardized, considerably hindered or made impossible due to force majeure events, meteorological hazard, official measures, political disturbances, strikes, social issues, demonstrations, difficult traffic conditions, closed roads or similar unforeseeable events. (Which are beyond our control)
Terms of Participation
Tour participants must identify themselves at the check-in before the tour start by showing their ID or passport according to the booking; otherwise, Inti Travel S.R.L. may exclude both the lead Tour participants and Customers for whom the booking was made from the Tour without refund of the purchasing price. For Tours inside Bolivia, all Customers must have their ID or passport with them. Couples travelling with children must have a “letter of consent for travel of a minor child”.
Disabled Customers who need assistance in getting on and off the coach are requested to organize such assistance themselves. Pets are not allowed with the exception of companion dogs for disabled persons. Customers undertake to inform Inti Travel S.R.L. of any health problems. Adequate health and accident insurance coverage is the responsibility of the Customers (including supplementary insurance against sports accidents in case of Tours with sports activities). Joining a Tour under the influence of drugs, medicines and/or excessive alcohol is not permitted. Customers undertake to strictly comply with these General Terms and Conditions.
Inti Travel S.R.L. reserves the right to exclude a Customer from the Tour with immediate effect in case of health problems, non-compliance with the terms of participation or violation of these General Terms and conditions or any instructions. In case the exclusion is made during a Tour, the Customer has no right for a refund of the Tour Price.
If the Customer is not present in time at the departure respectively meeting point for the start of or during the Tour, Inti Travel S.R.L. reserves the right to exclude the Customer from the Tour after a period of 20 minutes for a half-day Tour or 30 minutes for a day Tour and to depart without the Customer. In this case, the Customer is neither entitled to a full refund of the tour price nor may the Customer request any letter for travel insurance.
