ITINERARY

Half Day

Potosí lies at the foot of the “Cerro rico de Potosí”, a mountain popularly conceived of as being “made of” silver ore that dominates in the city.

The “Cerro Rico” is the reason for Potosí’s historical importance, since it was the major silver supplier for Spain during the New World Spanish Empire period.

Through the tour, enjoy the city central part known in the colonial period as the “Carlos V Imperial villa”. In this place, observe: streets, squares, temples, civil buildings and colonial covers with lots of culture and, indeed, history.
