ITINERARY

La Paz (3600 mamsl) – Base Camp (4780 mamsl)
Glaciar Viejo 4970 mamsl) – La Paz (3600 mamsl)

1 and 1/2 hour drive from La Paz to Paso Zongo (base camp).  Once at the base camp Box lunch will be served. Then, walk to the lower glacier, once at the place, guides will explain and show some basic techniques for ice climbing and mountaineering. Have the chance to practice these techniques with the specialized guides and climbing equipment. Later in the day, practice ice climbing techniques on small ice walls with safety ropes in place. Finish the day enjoy a delicious hot meal and head back to La Paz by 5:30 p.m.
